How to get started
Little Warriors Therapy recognizes the challenges families face in identifying their child's therapy needs and securing quality care. Our dedicated team is committed to guiding you through this process smoothly. To facilitate this, we've developed a comprehensive step-by-step approach that sets us apart. Our evaluation method is distinct, allowing us the time to thoroughly assess your child, engage in detailed parent consultations, and equip your family with the necessary resources for your child's success at Little Warriors Therapy.
1) Contact Us
Give us a call to (915) 313-4498 or send us an email at [email protected] to inquire about services and availability so we can help you along the next steps to getting started in therapy at Little Warriors Therapy. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.
2) Complete the intake packet
Please complete the intake packet. Be sure to complete all required fields. Please email copy of the front and back of your insurance card (In the process of enrolling to accept more insurances), and the insured’s driver’s license to [email protected].
3) Physician referral
Obtain a referral from your child’s physician for occupational therapy evaluation and treatment. You can fax referrals to (915) 313-5740 or drop them off at our office.
4)Financial responsibility
We are currently in the process of accepting most major health insurance companies. For those preferring a Private Pay option, we will provide detailed information upon request.
5) Benefits review
Once we have received your intake packet, and your insurances card, we will verify your insurance benefits and give you a cost estimates, visit limits, and general therapy benefits.
6)Schedule an evaluation
Once the intake packet and physician’s referral are received and reviewed, we will contact you to schedule an initial evaluation. The evaluation will involve comprehensive testing, incorporating diverse activities suitable for different age groups.
7) Schedule treatment
After the evaluation concludes, your assessing therapist will ascertain whether your child meets the criteria for therapy and will devise a personalized care plan. Subsequently, we will collaborate with you to arrange a consistent appointment time that suits your family.
Once booked, your child will have a regular, dedicated appointment time. We warmly welcome new patients and are eager to support you and your family in achieving your therapy objectives!
